Canto Systems is establishing a modern 1 GWh lithium-ion battery manufacturing plant in Kenya, planned to be situated in Kenya’s Rift Valley near a geothermal site. Our facility will be pivotal in meeting the rising demand (Estimated at $70 million annually in 2023 by import value) for clean energy solutions across East Africa and beyond. With a focus on electric vehicles (EVs), grid-scale energy storage, and off-grid systems, we aim to support the region’s transition to sustainable energy.
