The Canto Systems team is excited to announce its participation in the Manufacturing Africa Program, an initiative designed to accelerate industrialisation across the continent. This partnership will enable us to establish a cutting-edge lithium-ion battery manufacturing plant in Kenya.

In addition, Canto Systems will be supported by McKinsey for Commercial Due Diligence and BDO for Tax Advisory and the preparation of our Investment Memorandum. The Technical Assistance (TA) will provide critical expertise in ensuring the commercial viability of our project and optimising our financial, tax and execution strategies, further positioning Canto Systems to meet the growing demand for energy storage solutions across electric vehicles, renewable energy systems, and off-grid applications. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in our journey to build a scalable, Africa-based battery advanced manufacturing hub to contribute to Africa’s clean energy transition.
